Methodist University is excited to host the second Cape Fear New Music Festival on April 12, 2014. This event features performances of new works by regional and nationally known composers, and a round of paper presentations. The festival’s guest composers are Brent Miller from San Fransisco’s Center for New Music, and Jan Radzynski from the The Ohio State University.
The theme for this year’s festival is “Sight and Sound”. Many of the festival performances will focus on the interaction between the visual arts and music; in addition to our guest composers we are thrilled to present the work of acclaimed photographer and guest artist Burk Uzzle.
Please contact us if you have any questions about the festival. We look forward to seeing you in April!
